Lovelight Farms by B.K. Borison: A Book Review

I’m very happy to say that the hype is very real for Lovelight Farms! My heart! My soul! My feelings! B.K Borison’s writing has a way of taking all of those elements into account and being engulfed with the beauty of the story’s characters. The chemistry between Stella and Luka was on fire and the supporting characters were simply wonderful. love that their stories have their own books.

What stood out for me the most was Borison's writing about the little details that people often overlook but was made beautiful in this book. I can’t even pinpoint just one, but once you read this story you will know exactly what I’m talking about. She made me fall in love with this story because of those details. And Luka being one of the best book boyfriends ever didn’t hurt either.

If you haven’t already, pick this up, be present, and take a moment of self-care by reading this book.

Book Description

A pasture of dead trees. A hostile takeover of the Santa barn by a family of raccoons. And shipments that have mysteriously gone missing. Lovelight Farms is not the magical winter wonderland of Stella Bloom’s dreams.

In an effort to save the Christmas tree farm she’s loved since she was a kid, she enters a contest with instafamous influencer Evelyn St. James. With the added publicity and the $100,000 cash prize, she might just be able to save the farm from its financial woes. There’s just one problem. To make the farm seem like a romantic destination for the holidays, she lied on the application and said she owns Lovelight Farms with her boyfriend. Only … there is no boyfriend.

Enter best friend Luka Peters. He just came home for some hot chocolate, and somehow got a farm and a serious girlfriend in the process.
